Terroir 45-year-old vines, planted on a gently sloping, south-facing plot.
Metamorphic bedrock: two-mica and garnet gneiss, covered with shallow soil.
Winemaking methods Kept on lees for 10 months, in underground glass-tiled vats, which are traditional to the Nantais wine region. No stirring of lees.
Tasting The terroir brings finesse and elegance to this wine. White fruits and grapefruit on the nose. Powerful, mineral-driven palate. Very long finish.
Recommended with… Shellfish, noble sea and river fish, selected cheese or hors d’oeuvres.
Enjoy chilled at approximately 12°C.
