« […] With her daughter Aurore, who has a degree in oenology, Véronique Günther-Chéreau, director of the estate, is fighting for the recognition of the great Muscadet terroirs. This development of the communal crus is close to her heart. The Château du Coing in Saint-Fiacre, on soft schist, and the Grand Fief de la Cormeraie in Monnières, implanted on a clayey-schist layer, give slender and dynamic wines. Out of the 70 hectares of vineyards, our preference goes to the Château de la Gravelle in Gorges, which lies on volcanic rocks buried under a narrow layer of clay; the wines are softer there with just the right intensity in the mouth. Prices remain moderate. A safe and quality address. »
