| Terroir | This vineyard has a rather unusual terroir as the subsoil is comprised of the volcanic rock gabbro, covered by a 40 cm-thick layer of clay. This unusual soil gives the wines distinctive minerality and lemony notes. |
| Winemaking methods | Kept on lees for six months, in underground glass-tiled vats, which are traditional to the Nantais wine region. No stirring of lees. |
| Tasting | The terroir brings finesse and elegance to this wine. Fresh, lemony nose with notes of gunflint. Powerful, mineral-driven palate. Very long finish. Ripeness and roundness, with excellent balance. |
| Recommended with… | Shellfish, noble sea or river fish, selected cheese, or hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy chilled at approximately 12°C. |
