Terroir | This vineyard plot is located right at the confluence of the Sèvre and Maine, on a south-facing 15% slope. Metamorphic bedrock: two-mica and garnet gneiss, covered with shallow soil. |
Winemaking methods | Kept on lees for six months, in underground glass-tiled vats, which are traditional to the Nantais wine region. No stirring of lees. No added SO2, from harvest to bottling. |
Tasting | The terroir brings finesse and elegance to this wine. Very expressive nose, with a yellow fruit character. Powerful, mineral-driven palate. Very long finish. Body and roundness, with nice balance. |
Recommended with… | Seafood, selected cheeses or hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy chilled at approximately 12°C. |
